I don't know why or how it happens. They just do. I look, I see, I snap a pic. Sometimes they look good, sometimes they don't. On this day there were six. I like the new green popping up.. I'm disturbed by all the downed, dead trees and branches. It's like a war zone, more camouflage is needed.

On this day there were ten. I feel like an explorer when I go out and take these. It's as if I've never seen it before and maybe if I can capture what I see, which isn't the same as what I'm physically looking at, then I might just start to get it.

These were taken at various times over the past week. In this set I'm reminded of my fascination with light and the trees. It seems like they keep reaching out. Guess they are.

Most of these were taken on a two hour hike I took last week. Many were taken along the creek and a few at the old cemetary that dates back to the early 1900's. Light continues to excite me. It'd be good to catch some extra early sun.
